CRS work in Ghana began in 1958 and currently has robust programming in Agriculture and Livelihoods, Health, WASH, Migration, Youth Development and Peace Building, Gender and financial inclusion. CRS is implementing the Providing Livelihood Opportunities and Support for Kayayei Porters (KAYAPORT) project within the Migration, Youth and Peace- building portfolio. The project will work to empower potential and returned Kayayei with skills to gain profitable employment and contribute to enhancing their communities and livelihoods in partnership with the Navrongo-Bolgatanga Diocesan Development Office, Tamale Archdiocesan Development Office and Youth Empowerment for Life Ghana. The Project officer will work closely with the partners to achieve the project goals.

Job Summary:

As a member of the Migration and Youth Development team, you will monitor and report on all project activities in support of Catholic Relief Services’ (CRS) work serving the poor and vulnerable. Your thorough and service-oriented approach will ensure that the project consistently applies best practices and constantly works towards improving the impact of its benefits to those we serve.
