Project Manager – (Wholesale and Convenience)

Are you an experienced Project Manager? Do you have a strong commercial acumen?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join us on a 12 month contract. In this role you will deliver and continuously optimise the current live and inflight Wholesale and Convenience projects, taking the leading role on ensuring functional alignment and execution.

Primary Responsibilities

• Continuous improvement and optimisation of live trials including embedding ways of working across the channel and functions
• Conduct trial reviews and roll out recommendations ensuring data lead decisions are made.
• In the event trials progress to roll out, lead the roll out scoping and delivery with alignment into BAU functions where appropriate
• Clearly document new processes and align stakeholders on roles and responsibilities
• Effective stakeholder and sponsor management – maintaining strong alignment and partnerships to ensure that the overall strategy and activities are well planned, understood and communicated (key responsibility)
• Governance of strategic projects including critical path, risk, issue and dependency management
• Business change management processes
• Clear and consistent communication of the projects to key stakeholder groups and governance forums
• The execution and continuous development of new propositions and partners within the W&C channel
• Management of W&C Project Co-ordinator setting annual objectives and clear projects to focus on and support with throughout the year

About You

• Strong influencing skills – particularly managing upwards to VP & SD levels (key)
• Strong leaderships skills – being able to inspire the team, motivate people and hold people to account
• Ability to work in a matrix structure
• Programme/Project management experience
• Process re-design expertise
• Workshop facilitation skills
• Good communication skills/ability to adapt outputs to appropriate audience at a high level
