This position project manages colleagues who coordinate an ever-changing, cross-departmental pool of internal staff, external vendors, and subject matter experts, to build business process training products. Project types and topics will continually evolve and will require the ability to quickly adapt and master new skillsets. This position will need to identify and remediate where gaps exist. This position works independently and remotely to run multiple projects concurrently, so keen attention to detail is a must.

Responsibilities

• Determine the availability and capacity of resources
• Ensure project success
• Minimize redundancy and waste in content development
• Ensure consistency across products, vendors, teams, time, formats, platforms
• Manage a team of colleagues in Product Development involved in all relevant projects
• Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with a project
• Guide and gate-keep staff and vendors
• Recruit and manage subject matter experts to write, review, and present
• Recruit and manage vendors
• Grow relationships with customer managers and learners
• Inform ACAMS colleagues on project status and need for support
• Build major project plans (ideally using Monday.com and MS Project) for training development and implementation in various formats worldwide
• Gather data and prepare reports
• Build the department’s ability to execute well—developing best practices, templates, tools, reports, etc., and championing their adoption

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of Project Design, Execution, and Management.
• 5 years of managing external and internal staff
• Developing and managing adult learning, process training in multiple delivery formats
• Keen attention to detail
• Experience with product development lifecycle and order-to-fulfillment
• Experience with change management implementation
• Focused on Return On Investment (Can do a lot with a little. Knows where to invest.)
• Self-motivated, self-managing with remote supervisor
• Ability to manage others for top performance
• Exemplary time management skills
• Experience in reusable object design—especially discrete and reusable objects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (especially with SMEs who are often senior managers at customer organizations)
• Instructional design and adult learning philosophies
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
• Ability to understand the gist of a topic being discussed for the first time
• Ability to learn and understand ACAMS’s services and training offerings
• General technical skills and aptitude, being a quick self-learner of all the technology ACAMS uses now (including Xyleme, ReadSpeaker, MS Office, Webex, Monday, SmartSheet, LMS, Salesforce, ACAMS.org, etc.) and in the future.
