Summary

TI Georgia is currently seeking a full-time Election Project Manager, a highly skilled professional whose primary function is to lead and coordinate the organization’s election project activities and research

Remuneration: Will be defined according to the candidate’s qualification

Duty station: Tbilisi
Working hours: 10:00-18:00 (Monday to Friday)
Reports to: Deputy Executive Director

Main duties include:

  • Overseeing the work of Transparency International Georgia’s election team;
  • Conducting research on election issues; producing reports, blog posts and statements;
  • Conducting legal analysis around election issues, presenting recommendations, and advocating for legislative changes;
  • Identifying and integrating new research topics within the electoral affairs;
  • Organizing the election observation mission and its coordinating its work;
  • Reporting to the donor organizations semi-annually and annually;
  • Leading the implementation of the project activities, trainings, presentations and workshops;
  • Developing new projects and identifying funding opportunities, engaging in the fundraising efforts and negotiations with potential donors;
  • Communicating with the media on behalf of the organization, participating in the meetings with partners and various stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in management, law, political science or other relevant degree would be preferable;
  • At least 5 years of work experience in the relevant field;
  • Experience in non-governmental and/or donor organizations will be considered an advantage.
  • Thorough knowledge of USAID and European donor regulations will be considered an advantage.
  • Proficiency in both written and oral English language is required.
  • Ability to consistently deliver work on time within tight deadlines.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
