Mission of the Position

Works with lead project manager to control and monitor cost/quality and timing for serial development programs to deliver to North American customers.

Team Summary

The Project Management group is responsible for planning and delivering highest quality software to customer. This group is responsible for electrical and software aspects of the system. Responsible to ensure software meets specifications prior to production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be part of daily stand-up meeting (Agile meetings, scrum meetings and retrospectives).
  • Feature planning and Timing to meet the customer milestones.
  • Be part of Risk management and configuration management support activities.
  • Be part of feature planning/resource estimation to accomplish customer milestones with agreed content.
  • Support lead project manager from on- site and offshore locations (Pune/Bangalore).
  • Proactively work with cross functional team members and interface with customers during PDT’s.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Expected Learning Outcomes:
    • Understand business objectives of the project and milestones and work with project managers and team to fit and satisfy customer requirements.
    • Understand scrum master responsibilities in the Agile workflow and work with team to enhance teamwork culture.

Requirements And Qualifications

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
  • Enrolled in an engineering program with an accredited school.
  • MS Project, Excel, Macro programming.
  • MS PowerPoint and excellent presentation skills.
  • Good knowledge of important elements of project management, i.e. the project description, the project span, quality, needed resources, possible risk, relevant regulations and guidelines, most viable options, relevant tools, and methods available for execution.
  • Good communication; written and spoken skills.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and solving problems related to projects.

Work Environment

Office environment; minimal travel required.

While working in this environment, the employee will be exposed to machinery, moving equipment and material, moderate noise, airborne particles, fumes and various levels of temperature created by manufacturing processes.
