Tearfund’s Programme Funding Team is looking for a versatile leader with significant experience to support the effective delivery of its global portfolio of institutionally funded programmes. You will lead the Programme Quality Team to help manage donor funded projects across a wide spectrum, ranging from active grant management on complex large-scale multi-country projects, to providing surge support and ensuring appropriate governance arrangements are in place, to providing an advisory service on donor compliance, dependent on field delivery capacities.
We are looking for a senior practitioner, with an excellent understanding of exactly what it takes to deliver projects with institutional donors and the confidence to step in when experiencing delivery challenges. You will apply this knowledge when working closely alongside country and regional teams, to build their capability in grant management and service delivery to help transform the lives of people in the communities we work in. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of development and/or humanitarian programming, experience working with different types of funding streams, and adopt highly relational approaches to engage with culturally diverse teams.

This role can be based in any Country where Tearfund is registered and able to employ staff. Salary will be dependent on location.
