Tearfund

Tearfund is looking for an experienced practitioner in forming and managing multiple consortia to become its new Consortium and Networks Manager. In this role you will be responsible for proactively building relationships with peer agencies to support the formation of consortia through head-office relationships, whilst also supporting country teams to identify and build in-country relationships with potential consortium partners. You will do this as part of the Programme Funding Team in order to support the delivery of country funding strategies to help transform the lives of people in the communities we work in.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled leader with subject matter expertise and knowledge on consortium working, capable of delivering Tearfund’s consortium strategy and promoting best practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of external representation, possess outstanding networking skills and the ability to inspire ambition in others, whilst adopting highly relational approaches to engage with culturally diverse teams. We are looking for someone who already has an excellent network across the development/humanitarian sector, including with donors and other INGOs.

This role can be based in any Country where Tearfund is registered and able to employ staff. Salary will be dependent on location.

Applicants must be committed to Tearfund’s Christian beliefs.

The recruitment process will include specific checks related to safeguarding. In addition, personal identification information will be submitted against a Watchlist database to check against criminal convictions as a counter-terror measure.
