Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we’re tackling the root causes of gender inequality and child poverty, and we are now active in more than 70 countries worldwide.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Officer (Major Partnerships Programmes Team) to join the Development Programmes Unit in our International Programmes Directorate on a full-time basis.

In this role, you will work remotely with colleagues to support the successful delivery of international development projects ensuring we apply gender transformative approaches to our programmes as well as our monitoring and evaluation activities. A key aspect of the role will also be to provide support on Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) activities across the Major Partnerships Programmes portfolio.

You will value a collaborative approach, building strong relationships to create a positive and productive working environment. You believe that it is possible to achieve outcomes which meet the objectives of all involved, whilst being mindful of gender and cultural differences. Ideally gained in the International Non-Governmental (INGO) sector, you will have proven project cycle management experience of international development projects and you will display effective communication skills to present complex information in clear yet creative ways for impactful engagement with a range of different audiences. You will be able to prioritise work effectively and use your time efficiently. You will also be able to demonstrate a commitment to Plan International UK’s values.
