As a Program Manager for our Product Organization, you will deliver outcomes on one of the company’s top strategic initiatives, working directly with the VP of Product Operations. This is a high-profile position managing a program that impacts most of our clients as well as other strategic initiatives. The position is fast paced and provides an opportunity to interact with all levels of the company, including executive leadership. This position involves decision-making and is vital to the success of the company initiative. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the long-term results of the company and the Higher Education market. This position reports to the Vice President, Product Operations.

Specific Responsibilities Include

  • Serving as Program Manager on several initiatives spanning multiple geographically distributed teams
  • In all areas, partnering with subject matter experts and stakeholders to deliver the desired outcomes
  • Working with leadership and teams across the entire company to ensure alignment, transparency, and progress to the desired outcomes
  • Partnering with business leaders to maintain scorecards and report progress to senior leadership, functional stakeholders, and key staff
  • Identifying, measuring, and reporting on key performance metrics for the project to enhance insight into the project status
  • Serving as a project evangelist to help drive awareness, alignment, and forward movement throughout the organization
  • Managing project risks and proactively engaging teams in mitigation
  • Tracking a multi-million budget and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Identifying and driving process improvement initiatives to increase our probability of success
  • Developing best practices, approaches, and artifacts for leading strategic initiatives

The Candidate

Required skills/qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Program/Project Management experience
  • Incredibly client focused ensuring outcomes of all initiatives provide a positive client experience
  • Experience leading sizable, global project teams consisting of matrixed, highly experienced, cross-functional team members
  • Unparalleled communication skills, working with executives and driving them to deliver
  • Forward thinker who can assess situations, recommend solutions, and drive positive change across an organization
  • Incredibly strong analytical skills to identify data needs, prod for gaps in data, analyze results, and create recommendations to improve quantifiable measures
  • Unwavering commitment to outcomes over output
  • Possess strong collaboration and strong problem-solving skills
  • Organizational change management experience
  • Ability to build relationships and motivate and influence others
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects with attention to detail

Preferred Skills/qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • PMP certification or degree
  • Organizational Change Management degree or certificate such as CCMP or PROSCI
  • Experience working with Higher Education institutions
