Only 6 requirements for the chance to be selected:

  • A PhD and a record of research and publication in a relevant social science discipline OR a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline and significant work experience in international development partnerships.
  • English and French advanced reading, writing, and speaking skills.
  • Significant and recent experience leading and managing multidisciplinary international teams.
  • An in-depth understanding of developing and implementing development research partnerships while taking a gender equality and inclusive approach to research and other types of project management.
  • An in-depth understanding of how to strengthen individual and organizational capacities, science granting councils, as well as the capacities of AI researchers, innovators, and policymakers.
  • Knowledge and experience applying effective communication of research and research results to different audiences including the Canadian and international research and development community.
