Martin Marietta’s Internship Program allows students to learn our industry, with hands on training, right where the action takes place. You’ll work alongside some of the best in the aggregate business. In addition to technical skills and operational experience, you’ll gain project management experience and receive personal coaching from leaders within our company.
Our Cloverdale Plant is currently looking to fill a flexible internship role that start in Fall 2022 and fill continue throughout the 2022-2023 school year!
- Project Management
- Run time studies on various aspects of production
- Assist with drone operations for accurate inventory counts
- Overall Introduction to Plant/Mine/Pit Operations
- Tours of all Indiana District Operations
- Improve overall knowledge of the mining industry related to aggregates mining
- Quality Control process
- Gradation sampling
- Customer site visit
- Gradation data and report analysis
- Safety program
- Participle in multiple location plant wide safety audits
- Exposure to a World Class safety program
- Understanding of MSHA
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Be a current student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Construction Management or related field
- Live within the Indianapolis surrounding area
