Job Description
- The intern will assist or lead various projects in the DC including 5S walkthroughs, updating or creating shadow boards, equipment downtime tracking, work instruction verification, time studies and spaghetti diagram.
Required Skills
Skills and experience necessary for this role include but are not limited to:
- Lean manufacturing projects.
- 5S in an engineering setting.
- AutoCAD experience.
Required Experience
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, Information Systems or Supply Chain.
- Excel macros and VBA experience.
- Small warehouse optimization studies.
- Understanding of common packaging processes, warehouse operations, and daily tasks.
