Backed with more than 3 decades of experience in pharmaceutical retailing by Aster Pharmacies, this online site is designed to offer a wide variety of healthcare and wellness products.By introducing Aster Online, Aster was the first pharmacy network in the UAE to go online. Aster Online was created because of our constant endeavor to improve ourselves and the services and bring them closer to you.Aster Online brings thousands of products to your fingertips. The products range from curative and nutritive to baby care, lifestyle, wellness and rehabilitation. The offerings also include, FMCG, cosmetics, personal & home care products.Role Description – Procurement Manager would be required to oversee and facilitate the adding of relevant products and categories for creating pipeline or increasing the size of the Catalogue and ensure engaging with the top suppliers for regular offers and promotions.Procurement Manager would be the custodian of category wise product listing and promotions. PM would research to identify potential vendors and negotiate with them for onboarding. PM would monitor and ensure that all relevant categories have top brands and SKUs listed. PM would engage with and develop offers and promotions as per the annual calendar with all the vendors. PM would gather business analytics for assigned categories and evaluate the performance of promotions to gauge their effectiveness. The PM would engage suppliers and Brands where applicable in long term business plans for the category movement.Skills & Experience Required for Success in this Role: PM should have experience in category monitoring in ecommerce business. Should have worked previously in retail settings, preferably in healthcare industry. Ability to lead a small team and act without constant supervision for vendor management.
