Overall Purpose of The Role

A 6 month to 1 year internship providing support to the fast paced London press office within the Global Head Office. This opportunity will provide an immersive experience into how the different departments interact from the PR team to Merchandising to Design and Creative. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the press sample room overseeing fulfilment of press and vip loans and keeping a track on all sample loans to ensure timely returns and credits.

Responsibilities

– To support the Jimmy Choo London Press Office

– Support the UK PR & VIP Coordinator on all editorial requests with sample loans

– Liaise with design / merchandising staff for loaning products for internal use ensuring all samples are signed out and accounted for. Updating the staff loan folder and following up with returns.

– Support the global regional teams on any editorial requests, providing timely updates on sample availability (by the end of day of the original request).

– Co-ordinate all Editorial sample send outs & returns using Fashion GPS.

– Co-ordinate all VIP sample send outs & returns using Fashion GPS.

– Ensure all folders / dockets are up to date.

– Assist with the management of the samples cupboard, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times

– Ensure all samples are scanned out and returned properly on the system.

– Ensure the cupboard always has enough tissue paper and bags (update on a weekly basis).

– Assisting with the archiving of seasonal products.

– Manage the aftersales process for any damaged samples.

– Assist with any logistics for upcoming events.

– Monitor all UK editorial coverage including daily newspapers, weekly and monthly publications and online magazines and blogs.

– Monitor any publications from the below regions that are supported by the UK teams; Netherlands, Croatia, Portugal, Czech Republic, Poland, Turkey, Greece, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Hungary and Romania.

– Bi – Weekly online coverage check and distributing to the PR Manager.

– Filing all the Global Editorial images in the appropriate folders.

– Scanning all coverage and distributing to the PR Manager.

– To support with all ad hoc duties in the running of the press office.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Fashion Degree placement year or graduate
  • Passionate about fashion and lifestyle marketplace with a High taste level and fashion sensibility
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including presentation skills
  • Innovative thinker and solution orientated, able to join the dots
  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously as required
  • Strong organisation and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • High level of powerpoint, Excel and other programmes to deliver slick presentations and communication documents
