Payroll Specialist

TULIP RECRUITMENT GROUP LIMITED

This organisation are seeking 2 Payroll Specialists to join there team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have a payroll background, have previous experience of working out complex calculations and have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

You will be working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (flexible hours to suit you)

Office based training will be provided – so need to travel to Chichester for initial training- once complete, this role will become hybrid.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the overpayment process
  • Managing complex payroll calculations
  • Working out gross and net payments
  • Raising invoices
  • Writing Terms and Conditions for local governments or schools

Skills And Experience

  • A sound understanding of Terms and Conditions of employment for all staff covered
  • In depth understanding of payroll processes
  • Excellent IT skills including Word, Outlook Microsoft Office
  • Excel and competent at Formulae, Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP’s to analyse data
  • Good planning and organisation skills
  • Team working with the ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with colleagues
  • Coaching skills
  • Ability to work under sustained pressure and manage competing demands
  • Emotionally resilient
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
