Based in Glasgow city centre, our client is recruiting for a payroll specialist to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday- Friday 9am – 5pm. The organisation is easily accessible by public transport and is based in the city centre. The organisation offer hybrid working with 3 days at home and 2 days in office.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working as part of a finance team, you will undertake sole responsibility for the payroll cycle (supported by your finance colleagues). This will include but is not limited to; end to end payroll processing, processing starters and leavers, handling queries, reporting for management, reconciliations and general associated payroll administration.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have proven, successful high volume payroll experience. You will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and taking ownership of your own workload. You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, as you will communicate with colleagues on a daily basis, face to face, via telephone and via email.
