We are looking for a Paralegal to be joining our in-house department

Requirements

The responsibilities include:

• Ability to draft and review Joint Venture Agreements, Power of Attorney, Memorandum of Understanding, Shareholder Agreements, Intercompany and other corporate documents.
• Support to Corporate and Divisions with any operational disputes, payment follow ups as well as contracts and procurement with both tenders and contract negotiations.
• Management of legal server; POA’s, Licenses, Articles, Board Minutes etc.
• Support in the creation and implementation of KYC/Due Diligence; templates and process across the business.
• Support in conducting compliance training across the business.
• Document control both electronically and hard file should be maintained to the highest standards.
• Performing legal research, checking facts, gathering client information and evidence and completing the relevant paperwork.
• Negotiating, drafting, and finalizing various commercial agreements.
• Reviewing and recommending changes to standard forms of contracts, and coordinating the collation of documentation required to complete and execute agreements.
• Providing appropriate and timely advice, and always provides legal advice consistent with company policies, procedures and past practices.
• Liaising with the notary public and government Authorities.
• Ability to obtain, review, and implement local law advice from a variety of jurisdiction with different legal systems.

Requirements

• Min. 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably top tier law firm.
• Degree in Law is required.
• Knowledge of UAE Laws is desirable.
• Previous experience in compliance/due diligence, corporate law.
• Top English skills; both written and verbal.
• Developed and demonstrable legal drafting skills and legal analysis.
• Exceptional critical thinking and both quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
• trong commercial awareness, pragmatic workstyle, takes initiative, Ability and desire to take responsibility and act in a fast-paced environment.
