Overall Job Purpose

As part of board, The Organizational Development Strategist will contribute to the development and evaluation of ITF’s strategies considering; organizational design, development and business processes.

Responsibilities :

  • As a member of the board, participate in board meetings and contribute to the overall development of ITF.

  • Support in organizational needs analysis and lead the development of appropriate plans and programmes to ensure all volunteers/board members have the skills, knowledge and experience to perform their roles to the highest standard and meet the future needs of the organization

  • Support the board at large and the secretariat in identifying, defining, advancing and monitoring both short and long-term goals

  • Identifying where delivery of ITF programmes are at risk and support in the identification of recovery plans

  • Reviewing and analyzing the efficacy of organizational/ business strategies

  • Coach and mentor the Operations Director through capacity building programmes, and any other way deemed necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or equivalent

  • Ability to decipher how the big picture translates into clear goals, objectives, and actionable steps with an outcome focus

  • Proven capability to lead, develop and motivate a team

  • You are relentless in solving problems, work well in teams, and enjoy a challenge

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability to think independently and work collaboratively

  • Sufficient time to devote and volunteer as a member of the Board

  • Must be between 25 – 35 years of age.
