Do you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role or 10 years of experience in the International Aid Agency in the Operations Department as a senior member of the team?

If the answer is yes, we would like to hear from you.

The Operations Director at Oxfam in Bangladesh is in one of the three country leadership roles. The purpose of this role is to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective business operations, including oversight of grants management, risk management, compliance, Administration, logistics, IT, Government Liasoning security, partnership management, and financial management. In addition, internal institutional policy analysis, periodic amendments, and development of appropriate tools to identify and mitigate financial risks and enable the team with strong coaching to eventually build a second-line leadership are also expected from this role.

The Operations Director (OD) role comes at an exciting time when support systems across all offices have gone through a process of integration and the OD will steer the process to practice better ways of working – while many in the business operations departments in their new roles or redefined roles will look up to the OD for leadership and guidance.

We are looking for a leader who can be an enabler and one-stop solution provider when it comes to business operations and someone who can build a team with diverse capacities and competencies – with client focus and high accountability.
