We are working with a fantastic client who specialise in delivering homes, services and innovation for some of the most disadvantaged communities in the Midlands, and providing support to vulnerable adults. This client is a registered care and support charity providing services to those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness across all age groups across the Midlands. They are dedicated to provide the very best service, and they would love your help in continuing that process. The client is looking for a full-time Support Worker to work within their Homeless Services based in Birmingham. As a Support Worker, you will be providing early and targeted support to aid the recovery and resilience of people with multiple vulnerabilities including mental health issues; substance misuse, and complex needs. You would support accessing appropriate services; empowering them to build successful relationships and rapports within their community; improving their health and well-being and increasing levels of independence as they move through a prevention pathway model. To do this, you will need excellent communication skills, a customer focused approach, needing experience in facilitating customer involvement, and a proven ability to work effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders.
