Amazon, one of the world’s leaders in e-commerce, is expanding its Retail business and looking for a smart, dedicated and team-oriented Associate New Vendor Manager (m/f/d) based in Munich or Berlin to facilitate new partnerships with vendors in Germany aiming at integrating their product portfolio into Amazon European websites. Key job responsibilities

In Your Day-to-day Job, You Will Be Faced With The Following

Your task will be to help building the best possible selection for our customers with the development of partnerships with new vendors in Germany and Europe. Your job will consist of reaching out to and integrating both potential local and international vendors for Amazon.

  • Contatct (new) vendors. You will lead first steps, by calling potential partners or attending commercial events and trade fairs, and confidently explaining advantages and benefits of partnering with Amazon
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing and logistics setup
  • Be a business consultant to new vendors and provide insights and advice for them, being able to deal with different business profiles and sectors. Help new vendors to integrate their catalogue data into Amazon platform, master Amazon’s internal tools and train vendors on how to use these tools
  • Plan and measure advertising and deal events like Prime Day and Black Friday
  • Partners and trends are constantly changing in e-commerce. Take responsibility in a project team and thus promote the success of Amazon and its partners with internal Business Development projects
  • Conduct reporting to understand the performance of vendors

For This Position We Expect

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • First experience in a relevant field, i. e. in Vendor Management, buying, e-commerce, retail, key account management, sales, consulting or in similar customer facing roles
  • Fluent English and German communication skills

Further Qualification Would Be a Plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands-on mentality
  • Good analytical skills
  • Planning and prioritization skills
  • Knowledge in MS Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
