Médecins Sans Frontières

We are expanding our efforts into learning and development and therefore opening a new role at

the Learning and Development (LnD) Centre Copenhagen. This expansion entails a new position as

Reproductive Health (RH), Sexual Violence (SV) and Survivor of Violence (SoV) training

coordinator. The position will be remote with annual visits to MSF Denmark.

Your role

You will be a part of a team of three dedicated colleagues that are all working towards informing,

educating, and training MSF staff in both international mobile and country-based positions. As

training coordinator in the LnD Center Copenhagen, you will be responsible for developing

learning strategies across borders.

Your work will include performing learning needs analyses, identifying key learning priorities for all

MSF sections, devising a strategy to develop and update learning tools, and, in collaboration with

the LnD Centre, lift the level and quality of training in accordance with principles of adult learning

and pedagogy.

Responsibilities:

• In collaboration with the international working group for RH/SV, you will develop a learning

strategy within RH/SV, globally ensuring learning needs are met and professional

competencies are lifted in the projects.

• Coordinate and seek mutualisation of the learning offer withing RH/SV globally to optimise

and improve efficiency.

• Take the lead in developing Operational Centre Brussels’ learning offer within SoV, building

on the experiences from former courses and the recent SoV survey conducted by MSF

Denmark.

• Add professional competencies to and support the centre in securing adult learning

principles and pedagogy in the learning offer.

Essential Qualifications:

• Specialised and certified midwife, nurse, OBGYN or medical doctor with RH/SV and/or SoV

competencies.

• Diploma in learning, adult education/training and/or equivalent experience in providing

training.

Desired Experience:

• Experience with RH, SV and SoV.

• Experience from various (MSF) projects with RH, SV and SoV components.

• Experience with designing and implementing training programs, including knowledge of

learning methodology.

Workplace

Your workplace will be based in your country of residence. It is essential that your country of

residence is situated no more than 3 hours outside the time zone of the LnD centre in Copenhagen

(GMT+1). If there is an MSF office in the vicinity of your home, we may be able to offer you a

hosted position in that office. We are a hybrid team and are looking for an international position.

It is therefore only an added value if you live close to an MSF field project.

The salary

Note that the salaries at MSF reflect our humanitarian identity and the market rates for the NGO

sector. The salary will be based upon the local rewards policy in the country that you reside in. We

are therefore not able to provide details in advance. The salary will be calculated for the candidate

chosen before accepting the position.

Line management

Will report to Head of LnD in MSF Denmark and functionally to both working group leader and

Head of LnD.

Working hours: Fulltime.

Start date: As soon as possible.
