The Program

Funded by the Australian Government, the Incentive Fund Phase 4 (IF4) aims to attract, identify and incentivise high performing organisations to expand the reach, coverage and quality of their contribution to service delivery and/or economic development in Papua New Guinea (PNG). Projects funded over the life of the IF4 include the building and redevelopment of markets, primary and secondary schools, tertiary institutions, technical centers, health centers, hospitals and laboratories.

Tetra Tech International Development is the managing contractor for the Incentive Fund and is seeking a suitable Monitoring & Reporting Coordinator.

The Position

Reporting to the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, the Coordinator (Monitoring and Reporting) will oversee and coordinate routine partner reporting and support partner organisations to collect and analyse data on project results and to report effectively on project performance. This includes reviewing, editing, and providing feedback on partner quarterly reports and project completion reports, contributing to Incentive Fund program-level reports, and assisting with pre- and post-project assessments and reviews.

The Person

The ideal candidate has relevant tertiary qualification in monitoring and evaluation or social sciences plus excellent report writing abilities and strong attention to detail. You will be able to demonstrate high level skills and knowledge in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel and a strong understanding of the development sector, donor reporting, project cycle management concepts and tools, and crosscutting issues such as gender and disability.

Along with effective interpersonal and communication skills, you will display self-motivation and the ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a flexible, dynamic and culturally diverse team. Together with your good English proficiency (written and spoken) and ability to maintain a high standard of work, you will display strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
