As the MEL Framework Advisor – ADH Grant, you will oversee the planning and implementation of all monitoring, evaluation and learning components of this programme and ensure the MEL Framework (to be developed) is piloted, adapted based on learning, and findings are documented in a timely manner. As this program includes key learning objectives in both the multi-country Ukraine Response (Georgia, Moldova, Romania and Ukraine) and the Sudan Response, this position will coordinate learning processes across both responses by working closely with Response MEAL teams, as well as facilitate inter-office and cross-regional learning in coordination with WVI’s Global Centre MEAL team.

Requirements include:

  • Degree or equivalent in social sciences or related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in both hands-on and coordination roles for monitoring, evaluation and learning in emergency settings is critical.
  • Priority will be given to candidates with experiences in multiple response contexts.
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale data collection activities using mixed methodologies from designing to report writing.
  • Thorough knowledge in quantitative and qualitative data collection methods and analysis is essential.
  • Thorough knowledge in writing technical MEAL reports is essential but should also be able to present learning and key findings in a way that is approachable and understandable for a diverse target audience.
  • Must be prepared to travel 30% of the time including up to 8 trips to field locations at short notice across an 18-month period. Proven experience in staff capacity building.
