General Description of the Organization:

Ghiras Al-Nahda is a Nonprofit Non-governmental humanitarian organization working to empower people through fulfilling their basic needs and seeking to improve community stability and resilience.

Job Purpose:

Perform planned MEAL tasks for the vocational training project.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide periodic reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) on MEAL activities.
  • Monitor the field program team’s response with any updates or developments and make recommendations.
  • Ensure implementation of project activities in a manner that does not violate the internal laws of the communities, their customs, and traditions, and does not affect the dignity and security of the beneficiary.
  • Ensure delivering clear, relevant, and reliable data.
  • Conducting field visits, individual interviews, and FGDs.
  • Ensure community involvement in GAN activities to increase ownership and understanding.
  • Monitor the location of the service in order to ensure the minimum standards of protection, in addition to verifying the existence of a complaints mechanism in the location of implementation to ensure the provision of feedback.
  • Receiving complaints, and registering them, according to the agreed-upon procedure.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in MEAL.
  • Knowledge and experience of Core Humanitarian Standards.
  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced skill)/ Kobo.
  • Good communication skills.
