The Challenge
As a Marketing & Sales Intern at PCA (Personal Care and Aroma) you will actively support the DSM Personal Care EMEA Marketing & Sales team based in Kaiseraugst, Switzerland and Paris, France.
The main objective is to develop a rolling and continuous methodology to capture and analyse actively personal care trends and market insights across EMEA region, and across cosmetics applications (Skin, Sun, Hair, Make-up) by collecting, aggregating, sorting and analysing information from various sources such as Mintel/GNPD, Euromonitor, Kline platforms, specific cosmetics industry medias and magazines, cosmetics companies and Influencers communication, consumers reviews, cosmetics associations, tradeshows, and trends agencies.
You will also contribute to the implementation of the marketing & communication strategy to improve customer centricity throughout digital channels and platforms, both internal and external.

This role is located in Switzerland in our HQ (Kaiseraugst) with a duration of 6 to 12 months.
What You’ll Do And Your Key Responsibilities
- Actively collect, aggregate, sort and analyse Personal Care Market insights across EMEA from various sources of information, and set up a rolling and continuous methodology to keep them up to date in the Skin, Sun, Hair care and Color Cosmetics applications.
- Propose new relevant sources of information.
- Organize and facilitate virtual meetings, workshops and webinars.
- Work on marketing campaigns to improve online customer relationship and generate valuable contacts and leads.
- Measure, track and report performance of digital activities.
- Understand the user needs for Microsoft Dynamics CRM, PowerBI and other digital tools and how to integrate new functionalities.
- Work closely together with your direct colleagues and with agencies with the objective to grow our business with digital as an enabler.
- Operational support of the Regional Director EMEA.
The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of Management/Business Administration/Marketing/Communication.
- First practical experience through internships or other part-time jobs are an advantage.
- A “hands-on” mentality, with a proactive and curious attitude, happy to support and take self-initiative, the willingness to take the lead in some projects but also complete menial tasks where required.
- Very good English language skills are required, German and/or French is an advantage.
- Very good knowledge of B2B marketing, digital and social media, being digital savvy and a quick learner
- Good communication skills (both orally and written) with a committed and independent way of working.
- Motivated, flexible and team-oriented personality, who brings in new ideas and thinks innovatively.
