Manager- Operational Risk and Control

This role is primarily responsible for conducting timely assigned Risk Assessment Exercise (RCSA) and Independent Operational Risk reviews, Spot Reviews within FAB Centralised Group Operations in order to support the operational efficiency under the guidance of Bank’s & regulatory guidelines. This includes establishing and supporting the development of strong risk assessment, internal risk monitoring and reporting infrastructure, targeted reviews, controls assurance.Support implementation of Operational Risk Management (ORM) policies and framework at Group OperationsManage all the incidents to ensure all facts are captured entirely including the mitigation plansSupport in ensuring high standards of operational efficiency and adherence to relevant Standard Operating Procedures of FAB at all timesAssist in implementing robust tools/processes to identify/mitigate/assist Group Operations on operational risks, in the form of conducting Output Control assignments & active follow-ups on open issuesAssist Anti money laundering, Central Bank Guidelines and other internal policies/procedures are strictly followed and any deviations are reported to levels prescribedSupport and Demonstrate proactive pursuit of Group Operation initiatives and any external initiatives assigned and develop exception reports to suit the Output Control and Spot ReviewsCirculate Risk indicators for Group Operations in the form reports & dashboardsAssist & Support business approach to the development and implementation of policies / procedures / practices towards Cost efficiencyWorks with business unit teams to mitigate risks and optimize processesLead and/or participate in special projects and perform other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum QualificationGraduate degree. Advance degrees preferredMinimum ExperienceMinimum of three or more years of related and progressive work experience with a bank or financial services organization, including 2 years of related risk management and controls work experienceExperience the Global Market Operations with understanding of the Products at Intermediary level. Knowledge of Trade Products will be an added advantage.Experience in carrying out operational risk assessment exercise, compliance, risk and controls program within Operations of a financial institutionUnderstanding/exposure to Audit & Compliance – experience in interacting with internal�� auditors
