Think ground-breaking.Join WSP, and you���ll be at the heart of a team of international experts all dedicated to growing and sharing their expertise and working on projects that transform society for all of us.WSP is looking for a Head of Facades to provide sound and effective technical leadership to the Facades teams, leading by example to achieve company goals, and drive the commercial success of the team.WSP welcomes applications for part time and flexible working and would be happy to discuss potential options with you as part of your application.A Typical Week Would IncludeOrganize and lead the technical development of both Fa��ade Engineering and Fa��ade Access teams (collectively known as ���Facades���)Facilitate the development of a regional Facades team strategic vision, in-line with WSP���s P&B Regional & Global strategy, to inform a discipline team-level business strategyAct as custodian of the strategy at that team level, ensuring that the team acts, reacts and responds to the goals in its day-to-day functionBe responsible for the commercial success of those teams, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and budgets are both met in terms of revenue and OM, and not exceeded in terms of costContribute to an effective network of key team members in P&B in all business development, bidding, and project delivery activitiesContribute to multi-discipline bids as well as being the sole driver of single discipline bidsAssist and develop the regional and global profile of the ME P&B business, in conducting this role, and seek to undertake discipline specific business development activities, as well as taking and making cross-selling opportunitiesDevelop and market the technical offering of Facades, through bids, presentations, talks, articles, training and networkingProactively engage new and existing clients in the regional market to develop actionable intelligence, allowing P&B to predict and position the business for opportunitiesSupport and facilitate a WSP culture of customer service to internal and external stakeholdersEnhance and oversee the quality of Facades deliverables striving to exceed client expectationsShow a high level of expertise in the exercising of the duties of the role in achieving the strategic targets of the teamSeek to understand and implement the administrative processes of WSP, and our Way of Working, including adherence to the quality systemMentor, guide and holistically care for the welfare of my team specifically, and colleagues generallyHealth, safety and ethics are without question at the core of the role and personal approach to workingChampion sustainability as a concept, in the delivery of FacadesWe’d Love To Hear From You If You HaveAt least a Bachelor level degree, with a professional qualification20+ years technical experience, the majority of which is in a fa��ade consultancy role at a senior level with knowledge of current design processesAble to perform senior-level client negotiations with clear substantive speaking, writing, and interpersonal communication skillsExperience in developing, growing, leading, and inspiring strong teams with a relationship building management styleAdaptable to a wide range of tasks and responsibilitiesExperience with the commercial management of a business unitConfident presenting to senior internal, and external, stakeholdersComfortable using my initiative and working independentlySolutions focusedWhat if we can?What if we can have work-life balance?
