Here’s where you come in:

As the Livelihood and Economic Development Technical Advisor, you will ensure development and implementation of the World Vision Ukraine Crisis Response (UCR) Livelihoods/Economic Development (ED) Program strategy and Livelihoods/ED Technical Programming in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. You will be responsible for:

  • Drafting the UCR Livelihoods and ED strategy;
  • Supporting the development Livelihoods and ED programs;
  • Providing technical support to project teams for quality assurance;
  • Empowering and building capacities of the field staff and
  • Representing WVUCR in cluster and working groups and with relevant Ministries/stakeholders.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any area related to Livelihoods/ED, Economy, economic development, Food Security, Agriculture, Value chain Development, etc.
  • 3 to 5 years of technical expertise in the areas of Economic development or Livelihoods/ED Experience in capacity building processes, tools and methodologies.
  • 2 years or more NGO experience in the humanitarian and development fields respectively Experience in needs assessment and project design Experience in working with UN agencies, collaborating with relevant government ministries, and relevant Livelihoods/ED donors. Proven experience in Livelihoods/EDs in Emergency, recovery, and development settings.
  • Effective in written and oral communication in English.
  • The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally 25% of the time.
