Eastridge Legal is recruiting for a law firm in downtown San Diego with a need for a litigation assistant.

The responsibilities will include:

Provide administrative and legal support to litigation attorneys. Assist with civil litigation and securities fraud practices.

  • Request conflict checks, open new matters, enter partner billable hours, assist with billing, process expenses, and maintain legal files.
  • Coordinate meetings, conference calls and travel.
  • Conduct research, participate in witness interviews, draft and edit correspondence.
  • Draft standard legal documents, including table of contents, table of authorities and trial binders.
  • Ensure that deadlines are docketed in a timely manner.
  • Cite check and finalize court documents.
  • Handle state, federal, and appellate filings.
