With an expanding portfolio of humanitarian assistance and disaster preparedness, risk mitigation and recovery programs, we are currently seeking a Literature Review and Analysis Intern. This position will ideally be based in Washington D.C. though other remote locations may be considered.

This position will last six weeks with the possibility of an extension.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a literature on watershed management, including, but not limited to:

• Review of watershed management programs and challenges in Haiti
• Review of international best practices in watershed management
• Review of USAID, donor community priorities and strategies in watershed management globally
• Synthesis of information obtained from review of both peer review and gray literature per topics mentioned above
• Development of brief strategy paper regarding priorities for future watershed management programs in Haiti that reflect both local and international best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or Master’s degree program in International Development or related field of study.
• Experience with developing and implementing formal literature reviews preferred
• Excellent writing skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
