Lighthouse Immersive is looking for friendly, extroverted, and professional Shift Supervisor for the Immersive ArtSpace Chicago. The Shift Supervisor will take control of the operational functions of the Immersive ArtSpace Chicago venue, including scheduling, opening and closing the venue, ensuring the timely operation of the Immersive ArtSpace exhibit, implementing the safety procedures and protocols put in place by Lighthouse Immersive to ensure the safety of staff and patrons.

Founded in 2019 by Toronto-based producers, Svetlana Dvoretsky (Show One Productions) & Corey Ross (Starvox Entertainment), Lighthouse Immersive is the first entertainment company developing multiplex venues featuring large-scale events and exhibitions using interactive digital media.
The signature property of Lighthouse Immersive, Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit, opened on July 1, 2020 in Toronto with a Walk-Thru and Drive-In version to meet the ongoing restrictions and guidelines associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. Immersive Van Gogh was the first major art exhibit to open since the onset of the pandemic and sold over 220,000 tickets in four months with gross sales over $9 million to a core audience of 24-44 year olds in Toronto and quickly became the #1 selling show worldwide on Ticketmaster’s Universe platform.
Since opening Toronto, Lighthouse Immersive has expanded to 20 markets in North America selling over 3.25 million tickets.

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Shift Supervisor include, but are not limited to, the following:Opening and/or closing the exhibit
Ensuring company policies are followed
Maintaining an overall management style that follows company best practices
Scheduling the shifts, making sure all the key positions are covered during the breaks at the rotation schedule
Provide information about regulations, facilities, and the exhibit to visitors
Providing leadership and direction to all employees
Report emergencies and respond to calls for emergency assistance
Resolving customer issues to their overall satisfaction
Overseeing the cafe attendants and exhibit hosts at their positions constantly throughout the shift, taking disciplinary actions if necessary
Training new staff members
Motivating employees and making sure they are adhering to the company’s mission
Preparing and presenting employee reviews
Participating in all meetings required by the management
Managing staff on site
Ensure the timely operation of the exhibit
Implement the health and safety procedures put in place to protect staff and patrons
Delegating duties at the beginning of each shift to staff
Completing tasks assigned by the general manager accurately and efficiently
BASSET Certification
Other duties as assigned
RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent experience
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Organizational skills
Flexible approach to the work duties and your hours
Availability to work flexible hours which include weekends, evenings and holidays
Ability to work in a team environment and independently
Creative and resourceful approach to problem solving
Confident, friendly and professional
Salary Description$22 / hour
