• Description:* Taking incoming calls from people who are looking to see if they qualify to enroll for coverage, evaluating to see if they want individual coverage or Medicare, guiding them if they are eligible to enroll, letting them know what the next steps would be and providing quotes for insurance. If they are not eligible they are letting them know who they can call for more information. Also transferring calls from those who call into the wrong department. If there is downtime there would be outbound calls to families who’s dependents are aging off of plan and offering individual quotes to those.

When they are doing outbound calls they are reaching out to perspective customers and beneficiaries (Medicare). All are warm calls – people who are interested in Optima insurance IP or Medicare.

They will work in multiple systems – they have their CRM that tracks their leads and customer information, quoting platforms, enrollment platforms – multiple systems so need to be extremely computer savvy

Call volume during their peek is about 500-700 calls per day Held to quality metrics such as: Greeting properly, offer communication needs, let them know their name up front, letting them know the best way they can assist them, close calls with confirming they don’t have any other questions. No specific production numbers they need to hit.

Must be Licensed Insurance Agent (Health Insurance in the State of Virginia) – will be working with mostly individual plans or Medicare

• Additional Skills & Qualifications:* Licensed Health Insurance Need to be licensed in the state of Virginia

Need to get certified for Marketplace plans through CMS – its free Need to have health insurance sales Call center Computer skills – use Oracle Understanding of Medicare and Individual plan
