CARE USA

The objective of the consultancy
Lead and implement learning initiatives of flagship programs.

Background:
CARE Impact Partners (CIP), the corporate chain advisory of CARE USA, is designing in-factory programs (Flagship programs) as well as a community of practice called the Gender Equity Network, to deploy in the garment and soft-home supply chain of an American department store chain to support build a resilient supply chain through equity and justice. This is aimed to be achieved through equitable systems for hiring and advancement, financial security for workers, effective anonymous channels for incident reporting, and access to gender-responsive health information and services for workers.

Flagship programs:
Women face multiple barriers and gender-based discrimination in the workplace. Issues such as unsafe working conditions, excessive overtime, gender-based violence, and sexual harassment disproportionately impact women.
