Job Title: Learning Experience Designer

What you will be doing:

Our Maximus Learning Experience Designer develops or redesigns learning interventions and experiences including courses, workshops, professional development, entire programs, curriculum, and online learning. The role will be responsible for creating a range of instructor-led and blended learning materials including session plans, learner guides, assessment, and evaluation tools. The role will work closely with departmental leaders and subject matter experts to develop bespoke and repurposed learning experiences focused on ensuring employees, external learners or clients achieve their learning goals, develop skills and advance within their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defines course objectives and outcomes.
  • Designs and develops training content, learning materials, delivery approaches, assessment and evaluation methods for accredited and non-accredited courses.
  • Determines ways integrate a blended learning solution into training products developed.
  • Evaluate and revise existing content as needed.
  • Adapts existing content into digital formats.
  • Develops training materials or workshops for facilitators.
  • Designs and delivers Train-the-Trainer training and assesses the competence of trainers to deliver.
  • Following the design of materials, provides training to the operations or Academy trainers to ensure competence to deliver.
  • Evaluate the impact of learning experiences to determine results, success, and continuous improvement.
  • Adapts materials to meet business needs.
  • Monitor and implement global learning trends, developments, and best practices.

What you will need to succeed:

Knowledge

  • Minimum bachelors’ degree in a related discipline such as training and development or human resources
  • Membership of a training or human resources professional body (eg. ATD, SHRM,
  • IQA/CIPD qualification is an advantage, but not essential

Skills

Experience
