What’s the job?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team player to provide administrative support and secretarial services to the Extended Leadership Team, Councillors and Colleagues.

As well as providing administrative support to the Leadership Team, you will provide strong administrative support to project work.

Working in a high paced environment, this is an exciting, demanding and varied post suited to a confident communicator who is articulate and has experience of successfully supporting senior management.

We are looking for an individual who can work 22.2 hours per week, over an agreed work schedule.

The Leadership Support Team Works In a Varied And Highly Demanding Environment And Some Of The Abilities You Will Need To Demonstrate Are

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and meet targets including the ability to plan and monitor workloads.
  • The ability to deal effectively with sensitive and confidential issues.
  • Ability to work confidently and effectively with people across the organisation.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
