We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced (Lead) Business Consultant to join our team. This position provides a unique opportunity to influence our strategic direction, strengthen our product portfolio, and instigate technical solutions to cater to our evolving business demands.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • As a (Lead) Business Consultant, you will collaborate with (the) Functional Architect(s) to craft a strategic roadmap at the cluster/domain level, ensuring alignment at the functional level.
  • You will be the driving force behind fortifying our products and solutions, ensuring they are not only robust and scalable, but also easily extensible and simple to maintain.
  • With a keen understanding of present and future business needs, you will be the catalyst for innovative technical solutions that satisfy these requirements.
  • You will be a supportive guide for business and software professionals, fostering creativity in solution design and coordinating with internal and external development teams, product owners, and other architects.
  • Lastly, you will ensure the creation and maintenance of architectural documentation, adherence to best practices and policies, and compliance with security and accessibility standards, safeguarding the integrity of our solutions.

Additional Tasks & responsibilities as Lead Business Consultant:

  • As a Lead Business Consultant, you will maintain ‘Subject Matter Expertise’ for the platforms in your domain.
  • Based upon your strong technical skills, you will be the driving force behind technology and process innovation, fostering an environment of creativity and growth.
  • Additionally, you will manage the system integration landscape for Marketing Automation platforms, ensuring seamless operation and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a similar field, alternatively bachelor’s degree with long-term relevant experience
  • Several years of experience with Omnichannel Marketing Personalization & Automation solutions, including a proven track record of successful (agile) implementations and experience in an international and intercultural environment
  • Development experience in a language similar to Python, Node.Js or Java would be a plus
  • Ideally experience working in an agile software development team
  • Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, complemented by creativity and innovation. Outstanding communication skills, with a proven ability to establish and maintain business relationships. Proactive, with the ability to confidently navigate difficult situations, resolve conflicts, and build consensus.
  • Experienced in collaborating with business partners, vendors, developers, and legal and compliance functions in a global workspace.
  • Fluent language skills in English (written and spoken)

Additional requirements as Lead Business Consultant:

  • Long term experience with Omnichannel Marketing Personalization & Automation solutions, including a proven track record of successful (agile) implementations of complex projects or cross-functional IT programs
  • Experience as a Solution Architect and a clear understanding of Enterprise Architecture’s scope and tooling
