Job Description

The Key Account Responsible has responsibility for the management of relations and development of business with the Key Accounts in Turkey.

  • Identify and document of the KA customer requirements
  • Responsible for the acquisition of new business with the KA in Turkey
  • Deliver customer satisfaction through timely resolution of major customer quality issues.
  • Develop a regional strategy for business with the KA
  • Negotiate price by agreement with the GKAM together with Sales
  • Responsible for following up quotations given to the KA
  • Coordinate in-house exhibitions and presentations, top management events and meetings
  • Observe technological trends and requirements and the activities of the competition
  • Identify and records the KA customer requirements
  • Carry out the sales planning with regards to the KA in the region
  • Execute and coordinates cost reduction measures with regards to products for the KA
  • Settle warranty claims and reviews commercial aspects by cooperating with Sales/GKAM,
  • Escalate delayed deliveries, bottlenecks, DOH, etc.

Required Knowledge

  • University degree, ideally with a technical background (e.g. Mechanical/Industrial engineering, Automotive engineering)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sale of technical products
  • Excellent command of written and spoken; German and/or English
  • Very good knowledge of automotive development and production planning processes
  • In-knowledge in the areas of chassis/engine/transmission products
  • Legal knowledge in contract law
  • Strong communication and solution-oriented sales skills
