IMPACT Initiatives

We are currently looking for a Junior Grant Management and Reporting Officer to support our Project Development and M&E Team in Ukraine. The JPDO will assist IMPACT’s mission to improve the efficacy of the humanitarian response in Ukraine through effective grant management, reporting and coordination skills.

IMPACT Initiatives (IMPACT) is a humanitarian NGO, based in Geneva, Switzerland, with the aim to improve the impact of humanitarian, stabilization and development action through data, partnerships and capacity building programmes. The organization manages several initiatives, which includes i) the REACH Initiative aimed at facilitating the development of information products that enhance the humanitarian community’s decision making and planning capacity for emergency, reconstruction and development contexts, ii) the PANDA Initiative aimed at directly supporting key aid actors in improving the effectiveness, efficiency, and efficacy of their programmes, and iii) the AGORA Initiative aimed at promoting localized and multi-sectoral aid action in support of the recovery and stabilization of crisis-affected communities. In Ukraine, IMPACT is hosted by our sister organisation, ACTED.

REACH is seeking a qualified individual to support the Project Development Unit’s functions in Fundraising and Context Analysis, Proposal Development, Project Implementation and Follow up, and Reporting. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic record, excellent communication and writing skills in English, the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks, and initiative.

REQUIREMENTS
Necessary

  1. Excellent academic qualifications, including a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  2. Excellent communication and drafting skills for effective reporting
  3. Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  4. Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize to effectively meet deadlines
  5. A self-starter with a proven ability to work independently
  6. Solution-oriented, flexible, and open-minded, including ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment
  7. Fluency in English is required

Preferred

  1. At least 6 months of relevant working experience
  2. Familiarity with the humanitarian coordination system, and understanding of donor and governmental requirements
