IT Operations Customs H/F

Airbus is more and more international with activities all over the globe and in the meantime facing increased constraints such as the on-going trade war, Brexit, increased international footprint, etc. Airbus Customs department has to face challenges to ensure customs duties optimization and secure a smooth supply chain in line with Airbus’ activities.

In this context we are looking for you as an IT Customs Specialist in Hamburg, Bremen or Toulouse.

In an international environment, connected with a wide Customs and Logistic network, in collaboration with multicultural teams, you will be involved in

• Customs IT-Systems transformation projects in interaction with Customs, Procurement, Supply Chain & Logistic and Finance activities
• Customs IT tools evolution / adaptations

One customs solution roll-out and interfaces with sources systems of the various Airbus location (Europe, China and North America), SAP Procurement Supply Chain & Logistic ERP convergence project: unification of the logistic SAP landscape

Your Tasks And Responsibilities Will Look Like

• Acting as close partner to Customs business in transformation and improvement projects and support IT department in solution definition and validation
• You will work closely with the Customs Business representatives to reach end to end digital data management. On top you will collaborate through different activities with all departments impacted by Customs processes like, Transport-Logistic, Manufacturing, Programs, Finances, and Procurement.
• Contribute to evolve our strategy, design our processes and solutions in a very close collaboration with our business stakeholders
• Enable new ways of working and collaboration with the business and design the data-models and solutions that fit Finance and internal customer needs
• Leverage modern approaches to software development (agile, design thinking…) will be essential
• Ensure stable IM operations for our complex landscape group wide as data-integrity is key.

Your Competencies And Skills

• Degree or experiences in Customs &/or Logistics projects including integration with IT
• Knowledge on Customs processes and IT Landscape (SAP GTS would be a plus)
• Knowledge on Logistic processes Inbound/Outbound/Master data/Inventory and IT (SAP SD/MM would be a plus)
• The position requires willingness to learn about customs understanding + according to functional and technical SAP aspects
• Able to work on a project mode – Full project life cycle activities: From concept definition until entry in service
• English is mandatory and an additional Airbus language (French, German, Spanish) would be an asset.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to rapidly establish credibility and trust among a broad range of individuals within the company and through virtual means of communication.
• Awareness and sensitivity to other cultures and ability to effectively work with colleagues in other countries and regions. This ideally includes international and multicultural working and living experience.
• Strong in collaborating, capable of both teamwork and working independently.
• Strong integrity and ethics as well as a strong sense of accountability.
