The Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) Intern will be a member of the HEOR Team at ResMed that covers the full portfolio of our solutions (hardware, software and digital health).

The HEOR team is responsible for strategy and evidence generation to meet value, access and payment policy needs. Team members also serve as key collaborators on teams within the Medical Affairs organization focused on evidence generation and value demonstration.

While this role will be based in Europe, you will closely collaborate the HEOR global team and find opportunities to work with multiple cross functional teams across with Medical Affairs, Sleep & Respiratory Care, SaaS, DHT and other relevant business entities to bring the voice of the payer to internal stakeholders.

The position can be based anywhere in Europe (remote), supporting our HEOR-Team.

Your main responsibilities are the following

  • Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of HEOR projects to support local market access/health technology assessment (HTA) efforts
  • Contribute to the write-up and review of study reports, protocols, analysis documents, and other documents related to the execution of HEOR studies
  • Perform review and evaluation of scientific literature relevant to the business to assist with product level value assessments and evidence gap assessments
  • Contribute to the design and development of health economic models
  • Be ever mindful of the requirements of the wider market and ResMed stakeholders
  • Participate in multiple cross functional projects
  • Undertaking Master or PhD studies in epidemiology, health economics, pharmaceutical sciences, public health, medicine, health services research or in relevant areas
  • Experience and/or interest in medical device industry and digital health solutions
  • Understanding of biostatistics and/or data science and observational study designs
  • Understanding of health economic modelling
  • Good understanding of targeted and/or systematic literature reviews
  • Capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • A good understanding of healthcare systems and HTA body requirements across Europe is preferred
  • Fluent in English (written and oral) is mandatory, second European language is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
