Catholic Relief Services (CRS) has an internship program aimed at increasing opportunities for under-represented groups and increasing diversity in the workforce. Interns will receive a modest monthly stipend. Other details will be shared if you are selected for an interview in mid-January.
We anticipate a start date on March 1st, 2024, and an internship duration of six months.
The internship positions we anticipate recruiting for are the following:

Procurement/Supply Chain (1 in Yaoundé)

  • Read to understand the Procurement Manual
  • Carryout diligence visits to vendors
  • Draft request for quotations
  • Take part in bid analysis committees.
  • Printing of Purchase orders and transmission for signature
  • Verification of purchase documents and ensure they are complete before transmission to administration while ensuring the person receiving signs
  • File procurement documents

Qualifications and Experience: Holder of diploma or degree in logistics and transport, or master’s in supply chain management

Languages: French, English

Operations and logistics (1 in Maroua)

Review purchasing procedures manual
– Perform supplier due diligence
– Update the price catalog for goods and services
– Prepare request for quotation drafts
– Participate in bid analysis committees and prepare bid analysis report
– Print purchase orders and send for physical signature
– Verify purchasing files and ensure that they are complete before transmitting them to the administration department for payment of supplier invoices.
– Be able to review and process the partner’s monthly liquidation report & participate in Financial Monitoring Visits to the partner’s premises.
– File purchasing and financial transaction documents

Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor of Science in Management

Languages: French, English

Operations and logistics (1 in Bamenda)

  • Day to day management of fleet
  • Management of inventory of office supplies and CVA equipment
  • Understanding of CRS Procurement process
  • Preparing for field mission
  • Weekly vehicle movement planning (rental vehicles,)
  • Monitoring and filling of Stock bin card and generator monitoring
  • Vendor identification (RFQ, RFGS, bid analysis, Proformas and PO,)
  • Preparation of SOW, requesting MO, and debriefing and briefing
  • Procurement policies CRS

Qualifications and Experience: BSC in Social and Management Sciences

Languages: English and Pidgin
