Internal Communications Candidate – L2 (Assistant Manager level)

The Role – Principal Accountabilities

The EY Communications team is recruiting an exceptional communications candidate to support and lead on firmwide internal communications activities:

Reporting to the Internal Communications Lead and Director of Communications, principal role accountabilities include:

  • Co-creating and delivering end-to-end internal communications plans, working both as part of a team and/or in partnership with a diverse range of clients and/or stakeholders.
  • Delivering on key internal communications activities, campaigns, and initiatives for EY, to drive high business value outcomes for all stakeholders.
  • Establishing highly effective and credible stakeholder relationships, developing a deep understanding of current and emerging business needs and priorities, and providing, in conjunction with the wider Communications team, expert internal communications advice and guidance.
  • Participate in the formulation and execution of an internal communications strategy and plan, as part of the firms overall Communications Strategy.
  • Creating internal messaging across a variety of media for target audiences, ensuring they are delivered effectively via existing and new channels, working collaboratively with communications team and other internal teams to ensure messages are aligned.
  • Supporting the wider team in organising, planning, and running events including staff engagement events (as required)
  • Participating in the formulation and execution of communications strategy and plans
  • Managing internal communications channels
  • Supporting on external communication events as required

Key requirements:

  • Proven ability in co-creating and delivering end-to-end internal communications plans, working both as part of a team and/or in partnership with a diverse range of clients and/or stakeholders
  • A track record of creating, supporting, and implementing internal corporate communication strategies
  • Proven compelling written and verbal communications skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential
  • Strong team player with the ability work under pressure.
  • Proven ability to contribute creative ideas to the team in campaign planning and creation of Content

Desirable Requirements

  • 3rd level qualification and/or relevant professional qualifications
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in communications or similar discipline
  • Experience in digital communications strategies and channels an advantage
  • Previous experience in an organisation of significant and similar scale would be beneficial
