The Data Analytics Specialist will carry out the process of obtaining, organizing and delivering on data request for various Internal Audit projects and special assignments. This position will also participate in the planning, organization and completion stages of Internal Audit projects as needed to ensure reliability, availability and usability of data for the project and in the future.Key AccountabilitiesData AnalyticsCreate permanent data base for different auditsEnsure audit data is reliable, available, and usable Create scenarios testingCreate live dash boardsRun ad-hoc queriesInterpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques and providing ongoing reportsDeveloping and implementing databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and qualityAcquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systemsIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data setsFilter and ���clean��� data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problemsPriorities stakeholder management needsLocate and define new process improvement opportunities.Assisting in sample testingAssisting in audit documentationSkills Required:Data base querying – SQL query, Advance Excel, Macros, python etc. Analytical Tool like ��� Alteryx, VBAVisualization tools like ��� Power BI, TableauGood presentation and visualization skillGood communication skills Data modeling Mathematical, Problem solving and good analytical skillsKnowledge and experience about different types of databasesEducation, Experience and Formal/Professional Qualifications Bachelor degree from a recognized university.Certification in Visualization (Power BI/Qlick sense/Tableau etc.)Certification in Analytics ��� Alteryx Designer Certification, ETL, any BI certification, SQL query, Advance Excel, Macros, python etc.5 years experience in data analysis & management (Insurance industry experience will be an advantage)
