Internship Job Title: Software Development Intern – Site Reliability Engineering & Cloud Engineering NOTE: Internship is for Summer of 2023 You must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PHD Degree program at the time of the internship. This role is also not eligible for continued sponsorship. What is special about this team: The ANA Site Reliability & Cloud Engineering team pleays an integral role ins upporting the Agile development teams building solutions for our coustomers and colleagues throughout the US, Canada, and the Dominican Republic. This is a newly provisioned team tasked with providing a secure, stable and cost-effective platform for our solutions. The team will drive advancements in monitoring and testing automation, process improvement and alignment, and adoption of development best practices. How would an intern contribute to the team’s success: You will be joining a team of Systems Engineers and Developers that are driving transformative changes, and get to work on one of the most progressive teams within Amway. An example of a typical project is:

Contribute to and advance our Monitoring as Code and EcoSystem Visualization Tool.

Enhance DevOps capabilities.

Identify and introduce new cloud capabilities to advance ANA’s technology strategy.

Desired Skills

Provide infrastructure management for ANA’s AWS accounts and resources. What skills and background will be important to be successful in this internship.

Software development / programming experience with cloud-native solutions.

Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodology.

Understanding of common devops tools sets such as Git repositories, Jenkins, AWS Native DevOps tools, Infrastructure as Code, AWS CDK, test automation, etc

Programming experience in Python and/or Java.

Experience with Rest API development and API Gateway solutions
