The location in Zweibrücken is the European competence center for harvesting machines within John Deere. With 1.000 employees, John Deere factory Zweibrücken produces 13 different combine models with optional fully automatic levelling and intelligent technology. The factory also manufactures eight different self-propelled forage harvesters for the worldwide market.

Intern PV&V – Test-Equipment Development (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop a system to take samples on combines
• You will
• get familiar with combine harvesting systems to understand the system requirements
• design parts in Creo/ ProE
• create drawings to order parts
• support the assembly and installation of the system on a test combine
• conduct validation tests of the system – (possible testing in the field)
• Work independently in a cross functional team
• We would like to support your Bachelor, Master or Diploma thesis

What Skills You Need:

• knowledge of design / part modeling theory
• knowledge of CAD system, ideally Creo/ ProE
• enjoy working independently on an interdisciplinary project and leverage other team members as required
• Agricultural background and/ or tractor/ truck driving license is beneficial, but not required.
• English and/ or German language skills
