The location in Zweibrücken is the European competence center for harvesting machines within John Deere. With 1.000 employees, John Deere factory Zweibrücken produces 13 different combine models with optional fully automatic levelling and intelligent technology. The factory also manufactures eight different self-propelled forage harvesters for the worldwide market.

Intern PV&V – Software Development (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Programming Software and design User-Interfaces for internal test-equipment
  • For that you will
    • get familiar with an internal programming-language and tools
    • understand the system requirements for the controlling of mechatronic systems
    • work together with other interns on different projects
    • conduct validation tests of the software on a real combine, maybe also in the field
    • Work independently in a cross functional team
  • We are open to support your Bachelor, Master or Diploma thesis

What Skills You Need:

  • Studding of Informatic, technical Informatic or Control Engineering
  • knowledge of design and development theory
  • Knowledge in programming with C
  • enjoy working independently on an interdisciplinary project and leverage other team members as required
  • English and/ or German language skills.
