Internship Job Title: Nutrition Formulation Internship NOTE: Internship is for Summer of 2023 You must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PHD Degree program at the time of the internship. Amway Innovation and Science (I&S) plays an integral role in developming new and exciting products that our ABOs are enthusiastic to share/sell in their markets. Amway I&S is doing cool things with technology and has a great atmosphere for teamwork. How would an intern contribute to the team’s success:. This position will play a lead role in the development of clean ingredient technologies that will enable future development supplements that are in high demand. This work is key to advancing our future clean label product strategy. An example of a typical project is: Clean label is an emerging technology trend with significant room for refinement and innovation in delivery format, ingredient selection and processability. The intern would be tasked to investigate this area, which will involve developing an understanding of available technologies through reading scientific literature, collaboration with internal experts and suppliers, and design, implementation, and analysis of pilot scale experiments. What skills and background will be important to be successful in this internship? Desired Skills: Education or experience with formulation of nutrition, OTC, or pharmaceutical products. Ability to effectively analyze and communicate ideas, concepts and data to a broad audience. Desired Degree: Masters or PhD student in pharmaceutical sciences, formulation, materials science or related area of study.
