Job description: Intern Business Development
Layco Medical Devices is immediately looking for an enthusiastic intern who can help us with developing and executing business strategies. We are a young and ambitious team where you will contribute to the development of a business strategy for the production and distribution of a medical device that will be sold in low and middle income countries.
Who are we?
At Layco we are a team of currently 7 people and develop medical devices for low-and middle- income countries. Our first product is the Goodscope, a device that is used to safely intubating patients during surgery.
Who are we looking for?
We are preferably looking for someone in their final year of their study. Together with one of the co-founders, you will develop and execute the strategies for bringing a medical device to market, build relations with NGO’s, distributors, perform cold calling with potential suppliers and come along to meetings. Physical presence in our office in Amsterdam Oost is preferred for 2-3 days in the week.

- Fluent English speaker
- Pre: experience in Sales
- 4-6 months
- Start as soon as possible
- 2-3 days/week in our office in Amsterdam
- 300 Euro internship compensation
