What will you be doing?

The Implementation Consultant works within our Professional Services Group to install and configure software and hardware components, providing an effective healthcare information management solution for our client. This role is a customer-facing role that will liaise with and provide support to the client during the software implementation, and facilitate knowledge transfer to the client, applying knowledge and experience to the diagnosis and resolution of problems and issues. As part of the project team, you will interact with the Project Manager and Project Team to ensure the solution is delivered on time and meets or exceeds the requirements of the customer.

What you will bring to the role:

• Experience: 3-5 + years minimum implementation experience including the application of structured implementation methodology. You will have experience in IT implementation or ETL experience with proven ability to implement multi-component integrated solutions. In addition, experience with third-party systems and familiarity with multi-tenant architecture.
• Skills: Web Technologies such as: HTTP, HTML, Web Services, XML/XLST, J2EE, .net, Java/Java Scripting. System to System messaging: Structured Messaging (particularly, XML, HL7 x12 would be an advantage) & Message queuing (particularly JMS). RDBMS Database Technologies: SQL Query Writing, SQL Tuning, and Microsoft SQL Server & Oracle platforms (one is a must, both an advantage). Understanding of UML Modeling, and Multi-Tier Architectures. Experience with Server Operating Systems (both Windows & Unix an advantage),TCP/IP, Clustering and Load Balancing (an advantage), Issue/ Defect Tracking tools.
• Characteristics: You will possess great communication skills and thrive in a team environment. You will excel in communicating technical issues to business people and business issues to technical people. Above all, you will have a desire to contribute to a well-established high performing team to ensure our software continues to deliver great healthcare outcomes.
• Qualifications: Technical certifications and Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or other related field is desired.
